BTN & the School

“Taste and see that the Lord is good. How happy is the man
who takes refuge in Him!”  Psalm 34:8

Shayandima School of TomorrowFounded in 1993 by Pastor Trevor Yoko, Shayandima School of Tomorrow has been providing a strong Christian education in South Africa’s northernmost province of Limpopo. The school started with the dream of a single individual who wanted to make a difference in the lives of Limpopo’s children. It began with two learning centres that, on the first day, were filled to overflowing, in addition to a preschool that was held beneath a shade cloth in the midst of the African heat. Twenty years later, that small school has blossomed into so much more. Shayandima School of Tomorrow now consists of ten learning centres, art and science facilities, sports grounds, and a library.

Furthermore, the school has since expanded to include a fully functioning mission base that serves as ground zero for Build the Nations (BTN), a missions organization founded by Brad Palmer, the current principal of the school, that endeavors to aid other missionaries, schools, and churches on the African continent. Volunteers from across the globe have moved to Shayandima, South Africa, to serve in both the school and beyond through BTN.
